Palala Game Reserve and the Lephalale Solar Farm: A Corporate Trip for 20+ Guests

Most of our corporate work is airports, offices and event venues. Every so often a trip comes along that is different, and this is one we still talk about: a corporate group of more than 20 people travelling to Palala Game Reserve, with a stop to see the solar farm near Lephalale.

The trip

We provided the transport for the whole group. The bush was the reason for the trip, but the solar farm is what people remember. It is a huge open field of solar panels, and it is not something most guests had ever seen up close. For a company group, it made the day about more than a game reserve.

Why groups like this need a proper plan

Moving 20 people a long way out of Johannesburg is very different from a sedan to the airport. It comes down to three things:

• The right vehicles. A group of this size needs larger vehicles such as the 13-Seater Minibus (or similar, up to 13 passengers) or the 22-Seater Bus (up to 22).
• Drivers you can rely on for a long day. All A2B drivers hold a valid PDP and go through our training programme.
• A clear plan for the day. Pickup times, stops and drop-offs agreed beforehand, so no one is waiting.
